We are a fully government-registered TREKKING, TOUR, TRAINING & MOUNTAINEERING company, operated by the founder PEMBA GELJE SHERPA, an International Federation Mountain Guide Association Certified (IFMGA) mountain guide, one of only 75 internationally accredited guides with this level of qualification in Nepal.
Our operational team and field staff are all professional mountain guides, high-altitude climbing Sherpas, and trek and tour leaders with many decades of experience between them. They each maintain their credentials via constant training and field experience.

I am Pemba Gelje Sherpa, a Certified Mountain Guide (IFMGA, UIAGM, NNMGA). I’m a native of the remote village of Juving, located in the Solukhumbu district within the Mt. Everest region of the Himalayas in Nepal.
My parents were humble farmers and I grew up working on my family’s farm, in the beautiful Everest trekking region. As a boy, I saw many trekkers and mountaineers passing by our village during the spring and autumn seasons, and I had friends and relatives who were working as trekking guides. This ignited my dreams and spirit of adventure and I set out to follow in their footsteps.
At the age of 14, I started work as a porter and kitchen boy, carrying heavy duffel bags for visitors to the region. This was my humble beginning and an opportunity to be exposed to the world of modern trekking and mountaineering. Over the next 12 years, I worked my way up from being a porter to becoming a climbing Sherpa/supporter in expeditions. I so enjoyed being in the mountains and thought of fulfilling my dream of being a professional mountain guide and started to find ways to participate in training programs. After a long struggle and hard work over many years, I have turned my dream into a reality, establishing myself as a professional IFMGA Guide and passionate mountaineer. I’m now one of only 75 IFMA-accredited guides in Nepal.
